My nice and THICK Split pea and kidney bean soup:
I love this recipe; it’s incredibly cheap, incredibly tasty
and really filling. And its all my own.
What you going to need:
1 and a half cups of yellow split peas.
1 and a half cups of kidney beans.
8 cups of water.
1 packet of Chicken and
noodle soup.
Two handfuls of frozen veggies.
1 large Carrot (chopped up).
1 teaspoon of salt.
2 teaspoons of pepper.
A dash of thyme and Rosemary (a really large dash, hehe).
Now listen carefully, it gets complicated (lol), you throw
all these ingredients together in your slow cooker (or pot but then it will be
cooked a lot faster), you set it to high, stir every hour and a half, and
presto, in 6 hours you will have the most delicious soup. Mmmmm.
