Was it coincidence?

So.. I read a lot of blog's mostly for lovely inspiration, amongst my Favourite's are Beth's journey (which I love!) and Ben does life. So after spending many hours reading their blog's and walking a little in their shoes, I decided that perhaps its time I started my own. I spend numerous hours surfing the net and gather all this information which always just stays with me, and I think its time I shared a little...

Lets go back to Monday, I decided that it was time for me to get my Shizzle together and lose some of my "wedding weight", 20 kgs of "wedding weight" to be exact. My Husband Ed and I got married 7 blissful months ago, it was beautiful, enchanting, everything I wanted, he was everything I wanted. After I got married, I got so comfortable, please, don't mistake comfortable with Lazy, I just got comfortable. And piled on the kilos. So back to Monday, the blinding realization that I have to do something about my weight, I decided to go for a walk into town, it was hot, the sun was beating down on our small town, it was uncomfortable, but I carried on walking, and on my way back home this runner (a girl that I am acquainted with) ran past me all sweaty but light and breezy. I remembered something I had read on Beth's blog about a C25K challenge, vaguely I recalled that anyone of any weight who wanted to start running should start the very simplistic but effective training program, funny, when I read that post I never gave it any thought, didn't even bother clicking on the link, but at that moment of me slowly sloth-like moving in the sun as the runner came jogging past, I realized, I want to be that, I want to move with ease, I want to be a runner!

So I walked as fast as I could back home, all the while, having the runner just in my view. I swung the front door open and plonked down in front of my PC while my eyes scanned my bookmarks to find Beth's Journey. There, Found it, Scanned though till I found the C25K link: www.c25k.com.

I read through that entire site, and it put that seal on my determination, I decided on Wednesday morning, I was going to start working hard on the New me.
